Customer Service Representative (CSR) Requirements
Our first priority is always to provide excellent and professional service to our
clients. To excel at this, applicants must:

Use professional speech and grammar

Type 40 wpm
-
Successfully complete Skills testing including spelling, grammar, typing and comprehension examinations

Possess Customer Service experience, this is a plus but not required.
While Dexcomm has staff that works from our office in Lafayette, we also
have operators that are able to work remotely from their home. This can be a
rewarding job without a daily commute. However, there are minimum computer
requirements as well as compliance environment regulations such as a quiet and
dedicated room to work in.
Initial computer requirements are as follows:

Pentium or AMD 1.8 GHz or higher processor

1 GB of RAM

CD Rom Drive
-
Windows XP (Sorry. No Vista at this time)

Sound card
-
Approximately 20 GBs of free hard drive space
-
High-speed Internet connection (No satellite or wireless)
-
Dedicated phone line with an unlimited long distance calling package
In addition to the requirements listed above each remote operator will be
required to purchase a call recording device & associated volume control
which are supplied by Dexcomm.
Also required is a UPS Battery BackUp system that can run your computer
for at least 30 minutes. You can purchase your own or you can purchase one
from Dexcomm and have it shipped to you.
In the future you may be required to purcahse a webcam or any additional equipment
required by Dexcomm.
The cost of these items, paid by the operator through payroll deduction, will be
approximately $250 to $450.
In the event employment with Dexcomm ceases to continue for any reason
Dexcomm will purchase the items back so long as the items are still in good
to excellent working condition.
We are a 24/7/365 facility with shifts that vary and do include weekends and
holidays.
Please Note: Dexcomm is a drug free environment. We test all qualified
applicants for the presence of illegal drugs before they are hired. If you
have used an illegal drug within the past thirty days, there is no point in
continuing with the application process. Once you know that you can pass a

Also note that Dexcomm randomly checks all employees for drug use, and if you
use drugs while employed at Dexcomm you will be immediately terminated.
